BALANCE: Begin the Transformation, Acknowledge your emotions, Lean into the Pain
Working through unresolved emotions can be tough. Expressing your true feelings can bring about fears of judgment, anger, or loss of love. However, bottling up those emotions can be harmful to your body and psyche. It's crucial to find a safe and healthy way to express your anger, fear, guilt, shame, and feelings of unworthiness.
Breaking free from these pent-up emotions will create space for more satisfaction in life, especially in the bedroom. For this exercise, if you're alone, it's just you, so please be honest with your answers. This could be the solution to experiencing the Orgasmic Intimacy you may be seeking.
Step 1: Begin the Transformation
To start off, ask yourself: What emotion do you feel most in your body? Where in your body do you primarily feel this emotion? Then, ask out loud: Am I ready to leave these emotions behind and move past this point? Write down your answers, considering any secondary gains you might be receiving from these negative emotions.
Step 2: Acknowledge Your Emotions
This step involves becoming more aware of where you are emotionally. Consider how this feeling in a specific part of your body connects to parts of your life. Perhaps these unresolved emotions have been causing physical discomfort or even pain. What does this feeling represent for you? Is it tied to a person, an event, a time in your life, or a place? Rate this feeling from 1-10, with 10 being the strongest.
Step 3: Lean into the Pain
This step might be challenging for those unaccustomed to self-reflection. However, without judgment, allow yourself to feel what needs to be felt, focusing on the parts of your body where you feel the most tension or discomfort. This process will help you release stored energy and move forward with a sense of clarity and peace.
